Bullathon Begins in Madurai
The inaugural session of the Bullathon and the Real India Tour, a novel event organised by the Madurai City Round Table 99, a wing of the Round Table India Organisation, saw a global participation with 26 participants from seven countries, including Australia, Ireland, Norway, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Germany, and Austria joining the event at Madurai on Wednesday.
According to Aravind Brahmanandam, the organizer from the Madurai City Round Table 99, the Bullathon is organized to provide foreigners with a chance to enjoy the ride in bullock carts and the revenues of the events will be utilized for implementing welfare projects initiated by his organization.
Detailing the scheduled of the event, he said that the Bullathon, Real India Tour 2014, will be conducted later this year, which will stretch for six days, including a day of training, four on the driving seat and one day of rest.
